Tent City Terrors Captain Maria Montoya has recently undergone treatment for breast cancer. To help with medical bills, there will be a roller derby scrimmage fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the AZRD Crash Pad.
Scrimmages are open to all members of the roller derby community, and spectators are welcome. There will be a raffle, with all proceeds going to Maria’s expenses.
