COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan
Arizona Roller Derby (AZRD) prioritizes the health and safety of our members, fans, and families. To ensure our health and safety as well as others, we have the following COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan – updated April 5th, 2022.
COVID-19 Sign In & Health Screener
AZRD requires all practice and class participants to pre-register online for practices and events and to complete a verbal health screener. This allows us to perform contact tracing if needed.
AND
We strongly recommend everyone who can be vaccinated, to get vaccinated.
We ask our members to report their vaccination status so we know the league’s vaccination rate. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions about vaccination. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Vaccine recommendations
Don’t come to practice if you’re sick or have been around a sick person.
We value everyone’s health and safety. If in doubt, sit it out.
Masks may be required.
Masks may be required for participants at indoor venues, at our juniors program, and when in close contact, regardless of vaccination status, when the COVID-19 Community Level is medium or high.
This plan may change.
The AZRD COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan is regularly updated based on the COVID-19 Community Level data provided by the CDC, our league vaccination rates, and venue.
