PHOENIX, AZ – Our hearts are heavy, as are many around the world as each country, and each state in the U.S. works to get the COVID-19 pandemic under control. For the safety of our league, our athletes, our volunteers, our officials, our fans and for the safety of all, Arizona Roller Derby is rescheduling all 2020 planned WFTDA tournaments. This includes Cactus Cup and Monsoon Madness.
Our hearts are with the roller derby community around the world and with every human affected by this pandemic. We recognize the incredible hardships that so many are facing, and the financial implications to leagues around the world. Please support your local roller derby, and mark your calendars, as we count down the many days ahead until we can come back together as a community to play the sport we love.
